So on May 30th I will be attending the all-Ireland ETC style team tournament to determine the best "region" in the country, or more importantly, to provide a good fun day of pointless grudge matches for everyone to get drunk over (except me, the beers don't effect me for some reason ). I will one of four members of the South-West team compromising of myself and three players from the WAC club in Cork. The event will follow all of the regular ETC rules, and after deliberating with the team I have decided to use Dark Elves, as my team mates will be using Orcs and Goblins, Wood Elves, and Warriors of Chaos collectively and repectively. My role on the team essentially is to provide the powerful punch to break home wins against the tougher lists, i.e. I'm the crutch of the team, the Mr.T of our A-team, the heavy weapons expert. Anyone interested in the ETC rules can find them at the following link: http://warhammer.org.uk/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=68226
So being the heavy hitting list, I was roling with an old favourite that has been in hibernation since the last Irish GT in '09 and will not require me to paint many more models to reach the 2250pt mark. Behold the Hordes of the Dunmer.
